As a key area, we are carrying out active research projects on AI-based brain ultrasound guided by MRI
To achieve Ultrasound-based precise drug delivery and novel MRI technologies for diagnosis, treatment monitoring, and assessment
Currently, the research focus is on:
new MRI image technologies for disease diagnosis and development of MRI imaging techniques for dementia, stroke MRI oxygen saturation, MRI Denoising, optimization of focused ultrasound-drug delivery technology, brain transducer array development, brain focused ultrasound treatment applications (Neuromodulation, Drug Delivery, Hyperthermia), and brain focused ultrasound system development.
Through the convergence of treatment technology and imaging technology,
medical technology progress is achieved, and through this, research is conducted that has a good influence on many patients.

Since 2024, the MIGT Lab has been committed to advancing and translating new technologies in the field of medical imaging-guided therapy, especially magnetic resonance-guided therapy for cancer, neurological disease, and drug delivery. Our focus includes various aspects of this field, including Machine Learning MRI, therapeutic application, FUS & Thermal Simulation, treatment planning, and monitoring of cancer treatment and metabolic response.
